According to me, one should never undermine a women's strength! She might be physically less strong than the opposite sex but when it comes to her emotional and intelligence quotient, she's can be ten times stronger than any man! YES that a fact! if all humans are born to live and given an equal right in every sphere, then why should the women be stereotyped, and kept behind as compared to men? Men don't work in the kitchen to help his wife or family, but when he's paid for it, he damn will do it.

Coming from a defence background myself, I know the pitfalls as well as the great things about it, and there's nothing like it.
A career in this field, especially for a woman is not only the best but the "most" respectful too! It trains her to be self dependent, self financed, disciplined etc. plus the benefits she gets which no other civilian can get is the most sought after.
Those who speak that it?s not good, and women shouldn't consider it as a career option, are, according me, small minded people who are still believing in the chicly that women are inferior !
Women when given chances climb mountain feats, solve business solutions, prepare food for 25 people, and still are able to smile and bear all these topics at the end of the day.
As the saying goes thoughts becomes words and words become action!, same can be incorporated in our lives, as we the people of India, bring about a reform through our thoughts, words and ultimately our actions.
Then it?s not far when the dream of living together in harmony become a reality

Hello everyone. Well, I don't think there is any problem in keeping women in the actual war. I agree that women are emotional, but then they are raised to be emotional, just the way, the guys are raised to be emotionally strong, n not panic n breakdown in front of others. Such is not the case with the girls. If a girl panics, it is always considered to b a girl-thing. And yes, I would also like to add, that women are not emotionally weak. If and when the situation arises, they can handle things equally well, as a man can. And besides, no one knows exactly how you have to react to a particular situation, unless and until you are made aware of the situations.

Any civilian, be it a guy or a girl, would panic if he or she doesn't know what he has to do during war-times or such emergencies. This is the kind of the thing soldiers are given training for. So, I don't think there is a need for gender discrimination. It is not the topic to discuss if who amongst men or women is superior. Both are equals. If women are taught to face things like men, I m sure they will do equally well.

In my opinion, women?s are for fit for the defence services because now-a-days technology are always growing at high rates due to that during the wars one no need to show their strength power only instead of that he/she will make use of their will power their smartness during the war, and we all know that that will power of women?s are always comparable or even more than that of the men.

Hence women?s are fit for defence services. As we can see that women?s are taking part in sports like wrestling, cricket, races etc. Which shows their physically fit evidences for armed services as well as we know that womens have proved themselves as intellectually and mentally fit?

I believe Women are capable for defence services. If given the chance in defence field surely they will prove their mettle.
But basic problem lies in structure of our society where men are on upper tier. Women have to sacrifice their career at every phase of life. There are several hindrance at each level in their career.

1. They need parents support to learn SSC and HSC.
2. If they are able to get through HSC-SSC, For graduation they need family support and permission. Considering today's condition in India where every day we hear a Rape news it becomes difficult for family to allow their young girls to go out for education.
3. Then comes difficult phase - Marriage; To continue in their career they need husband's and in-laws support to the fullest.
4. If at all they succeed in getting through Marriage phase then comes the big one - Motherhood; now here is a battle between a women and a mother. As usual a woman has to sacrifice her career.

So It is clearly wrong to say that a women is unfit for defence career. Let her free from shackles of society and then see her full potential definitely she will be at par from men.

In point of view today's women is fully fit for joining the defence force. Now days a burning issue we are facing everywhere that there is need of women empowerment, yes we all are agree with this point that women should be empowered, then if we are not allowing her to join defence force that mean we are trying pulling her behind by making discrimination.

We have great example in history like rani laxmibai, sarojini naidu etc, who was already part of army. Today also if a lady can the whole nation then why defence not?

Recently CRPF has introduced first group of 30 women commando, and presently more than 1200 women are serving in Indian Army.

If we look toward foreign nations recently us has also granted permission to join ground combat units to women, not only that in Pakistan, where women is not so empowered more than 4000 serving women are a part of defence. From 1947 they are allowing women to join army then what we are waiting for?

So lastly I want to say yes today's women having potential to join army, so we have to encourage them to join defence. Jai hind.
